Rupture, disturbance and provocation are the prerogatives of her work, which always seek new definitions of the order of things. Her soft, yet attentive practice reflects an intimate and visceral way of feeling and thinking. The borders of comfortability are tested as well as one’s predisposition to question oneself. 

Manuela, born and raised in Berlin, specialized in Plastic Art for Theater at the University of Arts in Dresden, Germany, where she subverted all authority. She worked at the Zürich Opera House for the past fifteen years with group and solo exhibitions around Germany and Switzerland.
