Alex draws, paints, and collages in many layers, his works question and challenge the preordered sense of our expected world. He lives and swims between multiple realms, and is always questioning to which he belongs. Is he whale or boy, or a mixture of the two?

Alex was born in Kyoto, he lives and works in Zürich. His works, in the form of publications, books and drawings have been exhibited worldwide, from Tokyo to New York.
