Peter Hauser

Zürich

dally, snap, muse, snap, ponder, snap, pursue, snap, surmise, snap

Honest, instinctive, and driven. Peter’s compositions of the generic, unnoticed landscape, instill a desire for the unseen, which arises in slow ramblings through gentrified hinterlands, concrete corners, dry deserts, and city parks. Line, form, light, and color react in the dark, through altering techniques of production and representation. Artificiality, abstraction and reality shift and merge.

Peter is the founder of «Püré Bildmagazin», an ongoing personal photography fanzine project started in 2007. His recent book project, Hello, I am not form here, was published in 2016 by Sturm & Drang. Presently he works as an independent photographer with a wide array of notable work for magazines, commissioned projects and companies. Peter has a degree from the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in Den Haag, Netherlands, as well a bachelor in Media & Art from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) where he graduated in 2010.
